PT. Pamapersada Nusantara (PAMA) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of PT. United Tractors Tbk, a major distributor of Komatsu heavy equipment in Indonesia. PT. Astra International Tbk, the major shareholder of PT. United Tractors, is one of the largest and most respected companies in Indonesia.

Currently PAMA actively manages numerous coal and gold mining operations, undertakes dam construction and roadworks as well as excavation and transportation projects throughout Indonesia.

As the largest mining contractor in Asia, PAMA has extensive competence and a thorough understanding in terms of development and operation, which covers exploration, planning, infrastructure preparation, mining operation, reclamation and re-vegetation of ex-mining areas.

PAMA ensures excellent performance productivity by providing optimal supply and utilisation of more than 1500 heavy equipment machines. Among them are the world’s largest earthmoving equipment, including 200-ton capacity dump trucks, 150-ton capacity coal trailers and also 29-cubic metre excavators.

In 2006 PAMA produced 340 million tons of overburden and 42 million tons of coal with a total revenue of Rp. 7,661 billion.
